Sixth grader River once more is tackling the trials of middle school, cliques, boyfriends and pre-adolescence. Mrs. Gladys B. Furley, R.N., the school’s Sex-Ed teacher, is ready to discuss the changes a boy goes through during puberty. River’s friends are all flirting with one another – including with her sort-of boyfriend DB – and she’s just not sure what is going on with everyone. Rivers wants to stick with DB, but everything is just too confusing. Will River survive this school year with all of her matchmaking friends as well as scheming rivals?
