Cameron Langford was a radio announcer and advertising writer in Toronto. In 1952 an automobile accident robbed him of the use of seventy-five percent of his body, but he continued to work full-time from his wheelchair. The manuscript for The Winter of the Fisher, his only book, was in its final stages of revision when he died.
